Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

Isaiah 40:28 – The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. (NIV)

Psalm 139:13-16 – For You created me in my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (NIV)

After experiencing some difficulties with our computer, my husband came to the conclusion that we needed a new modem. While the side panel of the computer was off, I looked inside and was amazed at all the cables, circuit boards etc. that made up the computer.

Then I thought of how amazing our God is!

  • He created each one of us.

  • He knit us together in our mothers' wombs.

  • He knows each one of us by name.

  • He knows the number of hairs on our head.

  • He is familiar with all our ways.

  • He loves us with an everlasting love.

  • Our God is an awesome God!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, how great You are! You are the Creator of heaven and earth, and You created each one of us. We praise You that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Grant us new eyes to see and hearts to understand Your amazing love for us. In Jesus' name. Amen.
